They are now seeking an experienced new business & account-growth focused professional to join their team of Account Directors. This is a hybrid position covering both new business & account expansion through upselling & cross-selling, and will have a major impact on the company’s continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to make a real impact within a fast-growing, innovation-led organisation operating on a global scale. This is a remote based opportunity for candidates based in the UK, however initial training period will require two days per fortnight in the office.
Responsibilities- Identify new business opportunities & manage the full sales cycle with prospective accounts
- Generate upsell & cross-sell opportunities from the existing account base, growing out accounts further
- Build & maintain strong, long-term relationships with both prospective & existing accounts
- Identify customer pain points and advise on how the platform can offer a long-term solution for the businesses
- Collaborate with wider team & company leadership to drive revenue closed
- Maintain up-to-date CRM system, logging all activity completed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends & competitor activity
- 5+ years experience managing the full sales cycle within the software space
- Experience selling into life sciences, chemical, wider manufacturing or the medical space would be ideal
- Experience using MEDDIC or similar is a plus
- Remote based opportunity but successful candidates will be required to attend the office twice per fortnight across the initial training period
- Basic salary: circa £100,000
- OTE: x2 (uncapped)
