Established over 10 years ago, our client is a leading manufacturer & distributor of consumer electronics. Priding themselves on a premium product offering, they are now working with the likes of John Lewis & Argos.

They are looking for an experienced leader to manage & develop an already existing, high-performing team. This role is a key player in managing the full sales lifecycle & long-term account management of key retail accounts across the UK. With a strong market presence in the UK already, the Sales Manager can expect high levels of success from day one. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled leader to join an A-player in the space. This is a hybrid opportunity with 2-3 days per week in their London office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of account managers, offering consistent mentorship & development
  • Monitor team performance to support in driving success
  • Cultivate a strong team culture
  • Develop & implement a strong business development strategy, driving success within the retail vertical
  • Build & develop strong relationships with key clients, maintaining these relationships for the long term
  • Drive strong GTM strategies, assessing areas of strength and areas for improvement; developing strategies where needed
  • Collate customer feedback and deliver to wider teams to influence long-term product development
  • Collaborate with wider internal teams to drive success

The Successful Candidate

  • Previous experience in leading a high-performing team is essential
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle with retail clients and managing these long-term relationships is essential
  • A background in consumer electronics is a plus
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Commutable to London 2-3 times per week

  • Basic salary: up to £90,000
