This is a field-based role covering Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. Great opportunity for a current Retail Manager to transition into B2B Sales. Established over 20 years ago, our client is an international market leader in the FMCG space, currently working with major retailers. They pride themselves on environmental sustainability and employee well-being, with strong benefits and facilities. Following consecutive year-on-year growth, the role focuses on maintaining and expanding existing client accounts, selling in products, educating clients on product ranges, providing visual merchandising support and driving revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Field-based account management with opportunity for additional sales and growth of the accounts
  • Meet KPIs including site visits, product availability and distribution
  • Build and maintain relationships with leaders across retail accounts
  • Ensure leaders and wider teams are knowledgeable about product placement and availability to maximise account performance
  • Proactively predict and handle objections
  • Collect pricing and distribution information and report to internal teams
  • Identify and prospect commercial opportunities as needed

The Successful Candidate

  • 12+ months experience in a field sales position
  • Experience in the FMCG space is advantageous
  • Candidates from a B2C sales background (e.g., estate agents, car sales) are encouraged to apply
  • A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is essential
  • Based in Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, or surrounding areas

Salary-related benefits includes Sales allowance, Shares options, Company car, Pension options, Healthcare options, and 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
