Working with over 20,000 educational institutions, our client has a long-standing reputation of providing high quality products & services, meeting the needs of thousands of students globally.
They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team & continue their growth efforts. This role involves a combination of seeking out new business and identifying growth / new business opportunities from key existing accounts. This organisation has a truly unmatched impact on the lives of students – they are looking for a Business Development Manager who shares this passion and can act as a consultative & enthusiastic representative on behalf of the business.
This opportunity is home-based, with European travel several times per year.
Responsibilities- Maintain long-term relationships with key accounts across the education & public sector space
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts & manage commercial processes
- Identify & prospect new business opportunities within the space, managing the full sales cycle with prospective accounts
- Drive revenue growth for the organisation by acting as a consultative point of contact for both new & existing accounts across Europe
- Collaborate with internal teams as & when needed
- 3+ years consultative sales experience
- Experience selling into the education space is ideal
- Candidates outside of the education space will also be considered
- Ability to speak a second European language would be a plus but not essential
- Based in the UK
- Basic salary: up to £50,000
- OTE: +£25,000
