Established over 20 years ago, our client is an international market leader in the FMCG space, currently working with the likes of Tesco & Nisa. Following consecutive year-on-year growth, they are now focusing on harnessing relationships with existing accounts. This new role is key for maintaining and expanding existing client accounts, selling in products as well as educating clients on their growing product ranges, providing visual merchandising support and driving revenue overall.
They offer a wide range of progression opportunities, not only through sales & leadership, but also expanding into wider departments across the business. This is a field-based role covering Manchester & will also be a 12-month fixed term contract.
- Field based account management with opportunity for additional sales & growth of the accounts
- Build & maintain existing relationships with leaders across retail accounts
- Ensuring leaders & wider teams across the accounts are knowledgeable about the product, its placement and the importance of availability, aiming to maximise account performance
- Identify and prospect commercial opportunities when needed
Requirements:
- 12+ months experience in a field sales position
- Experience in the FMCG space would be a plus
- A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is essential
