Established over 20 years ago, our client is an international market leader in the FMCG space, currently working with the likes of Tesco & Nisa. Following consecutive year-on-year growth, they are now focusing on harnessing relationships with existing accounts. This new role is key for maintaining and expanding existing client accounts, selling in products as well as educating clients on their growing product ranges, providing visual merchandising support and driving revenue overall.
This is a field-based role covering County Tyrone & County Fermanagh.
Responsibilities:- Field based account management with opportunity for additional sales & growth of the accounts
- Meet KPIs including site visits, availability and distribution of products
- Build & maintain existing relationships with leaders across retail accounts
- Ensuring leaders & wider teams across the accounts are knowledgeable about the product, its placement and the importance of availability, aiming to maximise account performance
- Be proactive in predicting and handling objections
- Collect pricing and distribution information, reporting to varied internal teams
- Identify and prospect commercial opportunities when needed
- 12+ months experience in a field sales position
- Experience in the FMCG space would be a plus
- Candidates from a B2C sales background would also be considered; estate agents and car salespeople are encouraged to apply
- A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is essential
