Established over 100 years ago, our client is a leading manufacturer & supplier of commercial vehicles across the globe. With over 25,000 employees in the organisation as a whole, they are currently turning over north of $10BN and are pioneers within the space. They pride themselves on their commitment to reducing their environmental footprint whilst also providing highly-tailored solutions for their clients across manufacturing, construction, public services and more.

After seeing consistent annual growth, they are looking for a Field Sales Executive to join their team to drive new business across Shropshire & surrounding areas, and manage won accounts for the long-term. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of businesses and build relationships with prospective accounts across the territory. This is a hybrid, field-based role – with 3 days per week across the territory & 2 days per week working from home.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies for the assigned territory to achieve revenues and exceed targets
  • Identify potential new customers and business opportunities across the designated territory
  • Stay on top of current market trends and analyse competitor activity; develop sales plans that respond to any changes accordingly
  • Complete regular sales reporting on performance, trends, and customer feedback; deliver to senior management as required
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure effective and efficient operations across the whole company

The Successful Candidate

  • 2+ years experience in B2B truck / lorry / van sales is ideal
  • Candidates with experience in capital equipment sales are also encouraged to apply
  • Candidates with a B2C car sales background are also encouraged to apply
  • New business experience is ideal
  • Based in Shropshire or surrounding areas

Field Sales Executive Package

  • Basic salary: up to £35,000
  • Year 1 OTE: +£25,000 (uncapped)
  • Guaranteed commission paid for initial 6 month period of working with the business
