We are working with a leading FMCG manufacturer with a strong international presence and an annual turnover of £5 billion. They are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to manage a portfolio of existing independent retailers, including convenience stores, grocery stores, and petrol stations. The role will focus on building strong customer relationships, driving product availability and distribution, managing trade agreements, and delivering effective visual merchandising.
This is a field-based account management opportunity covering Cardiff and Barry, with the successful candidate typically spending four days visiting customers and one day working from home.
- Monitor and collect pricing and distribution data, reporting insights to relevant internal teams
- Implement field merchandising solutions to improve product visibility and availability
- Educate store leaders and teams to increase product knowledge and awareness
