Account Manager – SaaS | Public Sector | Remote | Up to £60,000 Base + Uncapped OTE

Our client is a leading SaaS provider helping Local Authorities and public sector organisations across the built environment modernise operations, improve efficiency and deliver critical infrastructure projects through innovative technology and data-driven solutions.
Backed by over £100m in funding and having doubled in size over the past two years, the business is scaling rapidly and looking to add an experienced Account Manager to its growing team.
This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on building long-term partnerships, driving customer success, protecting recurring revenue and identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts within the Public Sector.
Fully remote, with occasional travel for customer meetings, industry events and team collaboration days.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow a portfolio of Public Sector customers, including Local Authorities and Highway Authorities
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across each account
• Understand customer objectives and deliver value that drives retention and long-term success
• Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the customer base
• Lead account reviews, renewal discussions, and strategic planning sessions
• Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM records
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximise customer outcomes and satisfaction
• Act as the voice of the customer, feeding insights back into the business
The Successful Candidate:
• 3+ years' experience managing and growing existing accounts within a SaaS or technology environment
• Experience working with Public Sector organisations, particularly Local Authorities or Highway Authorities, is highly desirable
• Proven success managing complex stakeholder groups and commercial conversations
• Confident engaging senior decision-makers, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders
• Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC is advantageous
• Highly organised, commercially driven, and disciplined in CRM and pipeline management
Account Manager Package:
- Basic salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
