We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Clerk to join our long established and growing Freight Logistics Company. Working on our Traffic desk you will be an integral part of our UK & European sub-contracting operation.
Key Responsibilities/Duties will include:
- Liaising with our Company Approved sub-contractors
- Planning and allocating consignments, ensuring all data is created and processed accurately
- Providing excellent communications with customers, sub-contractors and colleagues
- Dealing with client queries efficiently and with care
- General transport administration
Key skills and experience required for this role will include:
- Experience within a Haulage environment ideally dealing with subcontractors
- Minimum of 2 years office experience
- Computer literate
- Good geographical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills - verbal & written
- Ability to follow work procedures
- Attention to detail is paramount
