Are you immediately available and looking for a new opportunity with a global food manufacturer? Do you have prior compliance or specifications technologist experience?
Due to an increase in workload, a successful, globally recognised food manufacturer based in High Wycombe are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join their team initially on a 6 month temporary contract.
You will work closely with the existing compliance team to ensure compliance across packaging , artwork, labelling and R&D project work.
Prior experience in QA/RA/Compliance/Spec Tech within the food industry is essential.
Role Overview
- Full time role, Monday-Friday, 6-Month Temp, Hybrid (2-3 days on site in High Wycombe).
£16.50- £23ph - open to a range of experience levels.
- Support the existing Regulatory Team and work closely with R&D and other departments to ensure compliance across new and existing products.
- Assist with responding to customer queries related to compliance.
- Review and approve artwork, labelling and packaging inline with relevant legislation.
- Ensure Labelling and ingredients comply with Allergen standards and other relevant legislation.
Requirements
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Food Science, Food Technology , or a closely related Food Science discipline.
- Prior working experience in a similar regulatory compliance role in the Food industry. (Candidates with experience working as a Specification Technologist will also be considered and are encouraged to apply)
- Strong working knowledge of European food compliance standards.
- Experience specifically with Bakery Wares is highly beneficial.
