Are you a graduate of a scientific discipline? Are you looking to start your career in an analytical lab based role? A highly successful contract testing organisation are seeking a Graduate Laboratory Analyst to join the team at their site near Reading. The company provides analytical testing services to the Chemical Industry and you will be working on a variety of client’s studies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly supportive and motivational team with realistic opportunities to develop your skills and progress.
Role Overview
- Permanent, Full Time (Mon-Fri 9-5, 37.5 hours per week) £24,000pa.
- Lab Based analytical work utilising a range of bench and chromatographic techniques.
- Completion of related documentation and data interpretation.
- Work closely with study directors and other scientists to ensure client’s studies are delivered on time to an excellent standard of quality.
Requirements
- Educated to Degree level or above in a relevant discipline.
- Practical Laboratory experience and good basic lab/bench skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, investigative and analytical skills.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office).
- Highly advantageous but not essential – Practical Experience with HPLC + GC and knowledge of GLP.
