Do You have Lab experience from an academic or industrial setting? Are you immediately available? A leading and successful provider of analytical testing are seeking a Lab Technician to join their Environmental Science Lab near Derby. Ideal for candidates looking to begin a career in a scientific environment. Role Overview Receipt and analysis of samples using a range of analytical techniques Conduct all work in line with relevant Standard operation procedures and Guidelines including Good Lab Practice (GLP) and ISO17025 Temporary, Full-time(39 hours pw) role starting on shifts of Tuesday to Saturday. Rotating shifts between hours of 6AM-9PM. Flexibility required to move onto a different shift rotation that may include evenings and weekends. Opportunities to go permanent and progress. Requirements Analytical experience gained from working in an Academic or industrial Laboratory setting Degree level or equivalent qualification in a Chemistry related discipline is highly advantageous. Highly motivated with the desire to learn and progress. Must be available to begin immediately (27/05/25) In return This is a fantastic opportunity to gain full training and working experience within a scientific environment.
