Division Manager – Temps & Technical at Network Scientific Recruitment

Are you looking for a Lab Based role? Do you have experience of working in a fast paced , varied environment?

A successful food testing Lab are currently seeking multiple Lab Technicians to start immediately , initially on a temporary basis. The role will involve working in the lab, utilising a variety of Chemical techniques to analyse food samples, as well as preparing samples for off site analysis. This would be an ideal role if you have a scientific education/background and some experience of working in a fast paced and varied role.

Role Overview

  • Product sampling and environmental swabbing.
  • Preparing samples and reagents for laboratory testing.
  • Perform a range of chemical analyses of food products.
  • Work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in line with Good Manufacturing Practice GMP and all other relevant standards and regulations.
  • 12 hour shifts of 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM.

Requirements

  • Education in a Scientific Discipline such as a Degree in a relevant discipline would be highly beneficial.
  • Some prior full time working experience (from any industry) is essential.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and Attention to Detail.
  • Proactive and analytical approach to work.
  • Available to begin immediately and able to commute to site near Bodmin.
