Are you looking to gain some experience in an Analytical Laboratory? Are you immediately available to begin? Do you have prior experience of working in a Lab?

A leading and successful provider of analytical testing and environmental services is currently seeking multiple Laboratory Analysts to join the team in their environmental testing lab in Didcot, Oxfordshire, on a temp to perm basis.

Ideal for graduates of chemistry, with some industrial lab experience from a placement year or previous role.

Due to the urgency of the role you must be immediately available to begin.

Role Overview

  • Receipt and analysis of samples using a range of analytical techniques.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in line with relevant regulations and standards such as UKAS ISO17025, GLP.
  • Temporary to permanent, full‑time role Monday‑Friday. 39 hours per week (Monday‑Thursday 8:30am‑5pm, Friday 8:30am‑4pm).

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant chemistry‑aligned discipline is highly beneficial but not essential; equivalent working experience in analytical chemistry is acceptable.
  • Prior experience working in a lab‑based role, such as from a placement year, in an analytical chemistry lab is essential.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced production line environment is highly beneficial.
  • Highly motivated with great attention to detail, problem‑solving capability, excellent communication skills and a strong appreciation for the principles of quality and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Immediately available to begin and based at a commutable distance from Didcot.
