A manufacturer of specialist pharmaceuticals is currently seeking a QC Analyst to join the team at their site in Guildford on a full-time permanent basis. The role will involve the QC Testing of pharmaceutical products. This is an ideal opportunity if you are a graduate (MSc or BSc) of a relevant scientific discipline and have working experience in an analytical/QC role in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Role Overview

  • Permanent full-time, rotating shift pattern including nights and days. Predominantly Mon-Fri (occasional Saturday OT required).
  • Routine analysis of pharmaceutical products in line with cGMP and company standards.
  • Utilise a range of analytical techniques and equipment including HPLC, GC, RTLC, LAL and Gamma Spectrometer, to name a few.
  • Take part in maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment.
  • Ensure all records and documentation are completed in line with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience of working in cGMP compliant pharmaceutical QC is essential.
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant Analytical Chemistry related discipline is essential.
  • Strong practical experience with HPLC, GC and TLC.
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts that include nights, and will include occasional weekend work.
