Are you looking to gain some further experience in a Lab Setting? Do you have prior experience in Lab Support/Technician duties? A Laboratory Incubator Space in Glasgow, Scotland are currently seeking a Lab Technician to join them immediately on initially a temporary basis for 3 months, with the possibility of extending or going permanent. The Laboratory space houses multiple tenants across various Labs; your responsibilities will ensure the smooth operation of these Labs.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • £15 ph
  • Full Time 40 hours per week
  • Monday- Friday 8AM-5:30
  • Starting w/c 19/01/26

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee maintenance and refilling of liquid nitrogen and gas cylinders.
  • Ordering and storage of consumables.
  • Maintenance of Water Purification System.
  • Support Tenants of the Laboratories and act as an intermediary to facilitate external support (i.e from maintenance engineers).
  • Oversee and maintain adherence to Health and Safety requirements.
  • Monitoring and calibrating pH Meters.

TO BE CONSIDERED:

  • You must be available to begin Immediately in Glasgow, Scotland.
  • Prior experience in a similar Lab Technician or Lab Support Role.
  • Experience handling Liquid Nitrogen and Gas Cylinders.
  • Experience calibrating pH Meters.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Manual Handling capability.
