Are you looking for a Lab-Based role? Do you have experience working in a fast-paced, varied environment? A successful food testing lab are currently seeking multiple Lab Technicians to start immediately, initially on a temporary basis. The role will involve working in the lab, utilising a variety of chemical techniques to analyse food samples, as well as preparing samples for off-site analysis. This would be an ideal role if you have a scientific education/background and some experience of working in a fast-paced and varied role.
Role Overview
- Product sampling and environmental swabbing.
- Preparing samples and reagents for laboratory testing.
- Perform a range of chemical analyses of food products.
- Work collaboratively across departments.
- Ensure all work is conducted in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and all other relevant standards and regulations.
- 12 hour shifts of 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM.
- £14-£16ph DOE.
Requirements
- Education in a Scientific Discipline such as a Degree in a relevant discipline would be highly beneficial.
- Some prior full-time working experience (from any industry) is essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills and Attention to Detail.
- Proactive and analytical approach to work.
- Available to begin immediately and able to commute to site near Bodmin.
