A leading and successful Manufacturer of Chemical Products is seeking a QC Lab Technician to join them at their facility near Pocklington in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This is a busy production environment and will require the ability to work proactively and reactively to maintain production timelines.
Role Overview
- Start Date ASAP - w/c 3rd August Ideally.
- £15ph Initially Temporary, Full-time (40 hours per week) shifts of either 6AM-2PM, 8AM-4PM or 2PM-Midnight. Initially 3-6 months with potential to go permanent.
- Analyse samples (Raw Materials and Finished Products) via a range of Wet Chemistry Techniques and ICP-OES.
- Produce Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and other notes, records and system updates in line with relevant standards and procedures.
Requirements
- HNC or Higher in a scientific discipline.
- Prior experience in a Chemical QC Testing Lab, ideally utilising ICP-OES and various Bench/Wet Chemistry Techniques.
- Working knowledge of ISO Standards and Quality Management Systems, as well as experience with LIMS.
- Excellent time keeping skills and the ability to prioritise and work quickly to production schedules.
- Experience working in a production/lab or similar relevant fast pace environment highly beneficial.
- Must be available to begin immediately in Pocklington.
