Pharmaceutical Production Operator

Are you looking for a varied role in Pharmaceutical Production? Do you have a degree in Chemical Engineering or a similar discipline?

A manufacturer of specialist radiopharmaceuticals is currently seeking Production Operators to join the team at their site in Surrey. The role will involve the synthesis, dispensing, and distribution of radiopharmaceutical products. This is an ideal opportunity if you are a graduate (MSc/BSc, or equivalent) of a relevant scientific discipline such as Chemical Engineering, with some prior working experience in a relevant production environment. Due to the nature of the work, prior experience in analytical chemistry or a similar environment would not be relevant experience for this role.

Role Overview

• Permanent and 18 month FTC Roles Available.
• Synthesis of radiopharmaceutical products (cyclotron operation).
• Dispensing of radiopharmaceutical products into vials.
• Involvement in the packaging and shipment of products to patients.
• Due to the short shelf life of the products being manufactured, you will be required to work unsociable shift patterns including nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, ideally Chemical Engineering.
• Some relevant working experience in a production environment.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts including days/nights/weekends.
• Prior experience of working a similar shift rotation including nights is highly beneficial.
