Location – GuildfordSalary – £50-60kAre you an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in Pharmaceuticals, looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work for a leading specialist manufacturer?A manufacturer of sterile pharmaceuticals is currently seeking a Production Manager to join the team at their site near Guildford. Prior management experience in a cGMP environment is essential, ideally within sterile pharmaceutical manufacture.Role Overview

  • Perm, Full Time role (7AM -3PM) – Production is operational 24 hours a day so some work outside of these hours may be required.
  • Salary £50-60k DOE.
  • Management of the Production Department, including line management of Production Supervisors and Chemists.
  • Operational management to facilitate production, validation and maintenance requirements of the department.

Requirements

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience in Pharmaceutical Production
  • Previous Managerial experience in a similar environment.
  • A Strong understanding of relevant regulations, particularly cGMP & relevant safety standards
  • Experience implementing LEAN or similar efficiency and productivity principles is highly beneficial.
  • Ideally experience in the production of steriles or a similar product.
