The company is a leading manufacturer of laboratory automation in relation to sample preparation for Cell Analysis. Their automated platforms are widely used in life science research, clinical diagnostics, and biotechnology labs to standardize and streamline sample prep steps before cell analysis or sequencing.
The role: The position is home-based in London with regular travel (80%) to customer sites across EMEAI with a focus on the UK and Germany. This is the first engineer in Europe ahead of plans to expand, so will be responsible for building SOPs and templates for future engineers to follow. On-site installations and training of instrument and software users as well as preventive maintenance and service work and communication with customers, including preparing and submitting service reports.
The Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with Laboratory Automation instrumentation is essential
- Field Service experience is required
- Software experience is a plus
- Valid Drivers licence and fluent English is essential
- Ability to work independently and comfortable with travel
