Overview
With over 30 years’ experience, this company is a world leading manufacturer of products sold in the Medical, Laboratory and Automotive sectors, amongst others. The business started their journey with a focus on blood and IV solutions and have developed today to manufacture a wide range of products across the Life Science and Healthcare sector.
The company is now looking for a new Sales Professional to help them continue their already successful UK sales.
Responsibilities
As UK Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing relationships with existing distributors & Laboratories
- Training motivating and guiding distributors to enhance sales performance and achieve business goals.
- Generating new business opportunities and expanding the customer base in the life sciences sector
- Identifying key decision-makers and understanding their sourcing and purchasing needs
- Conducting market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential market gaps
- Performing financial analysis
- Working closely with the marketing, technical, and product management teams
- Preparing regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions
Qualifications
To be considered for this role you will have:
- A University degree or above, major in engineering, life sciences, or business-related disciplines or equivalent experience
- Experience in life science sales, specifically managing distributors and engaging with end customers
- A proven track record of managing and developing distributor networks in the life sciences sector
- Experience in generating new business and expanding market share
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with distributors and clients
- Willingness to travel frequently as this is a National role.
