Laboratory Technician (Environmental Science – Temp to Perm)
Didcot, Oxfordshire | £12.21 per hour | Full time, 39 hours per week
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a leading provider of analytical testing and environmental services in Didcot. This temp-to-perm position is an excellent opportunity for a Chemistry graduatewho is able to startimmediately and is a motivated individual with practical experience in a fast-paced environment to gain hands-on training in a regulated laboratory setting.
Key responsibilities:

Receive and prepare samples for testing using a variety of analytical techniques.

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with UKAS ISO17025, GLP, and laboratory quality standards.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to efficient day-to-day laboratory operations.

Occasionally travel to client sites (a few times per quarter) to collect environmental samples.
Requirements:

A degree in Chemistry or a related discipline is highly beneficial, but not essential.

Previous laboratory or production line experience (e.g. food or manufacturing) is desirable.

Strong motivation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Immediate availability and ability to commute to Didcot.

Full clean UK manual driving licence (essential).
-
First Aid at Work certificate (desirable).
