Are you immediately available???Do you have strong technical skills in Cell Culture and Cell-Based Assays? We are currently seeking a Research Assistant (Cell Culture) to support a Biotech company in Oxford. The Role is temp to perm, full-time. You must be available to begin immediately. You will work collaboratively with the protein sciences and cell biology teams. Primary duties will include cell line maintenance, cell-based assays and transfections, as well as involvement in equipment and reagent maintenance.Role Overview

  • £20-£23phDOE, Temp to Perm, Full Time (37.5 per week, Mon-Fri,) Start Date w/c 23/06/25
  • Mammalian Cell Culture, Cell Line Maintenance, Transfections, Cell-Based Assays (flow cytometry, ELISA),
  • Equipment maintenance of incubators, hoods, and other cell culture equipment.
  • Ordering and maintaining reagents for cell-based assays and tissue culture.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in line with relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • A Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific subject, ideally Biology Biotechnology or similar.
  • Strong practical experience and technical skills with Cell-Based Assays, Cell Culture, Cell Line Maintenance, Transfection methods, and related techniques.
  • Prior experience with immunology-based assays/ Lentiviral transductions is highly beneficial.
  • Must be available to begin w/c 23/06/25 in Oxford (OX4)
