Are you an experienced warehouse operative looking for a role with opportunities to progress and develop new skills, within a successful scientific organisation? A leading and successful provider of analytical testing are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join their Environmental Science Lab near Derby. Ideal for candidates with some prior warehouse experience who are immediately available and would like a role offering progression opportunities.

Role Overview

  • £12.71ph Monday-Friday 07:30-16:00
  • Loading and unloading company vehicles for transport.
  • Packing goods according to the specific requirements of each job.
  • Occasional handling of chemicals may be required.
  • Processing and dispatching shipments using LIMS and courier software systems.
  • Future opportunity to develop laboratory-based skills and gain exposure to testing methods.
  • May be required to drive company vehicle to other company sites (very occasional responsibility).

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated with the desire to learn and progress.
  • Experience working in a warehouse/production/manufacturing environment, lab or similar relevant fast-paced facility is highly beneficial.
  • Must be available to begin immediately in Burton on Trent.
  • Must have a Full UK Driving Licence.
