Brief Description
The Engineering & Asset Management function of Scotland’s Railway is responsible for providing engineering services that support the delivery of a safe, efficient railway network. A new team is being established, and we are recruiting for 2 x System Support Managers (Asset Management) to assist with leading and directing system and database management processes within Engineering and Asset Management. You will provide direction and support on the use of the systems and databases and all aspects of asset data management to provide accurate and current data quality and systems management.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate, and validate the upgrade, update, maintenance and utilisation of all systems and databases within asset management.
- Provide direction and support including briefings on the use of systems and databases within asset management.
- Collate information from asset management and third parties so that systems and databases are updated with accurate information at all times.
- Manage data quality within systems and databases to meet corporate requirements.
- Manage the integrated risk management process; if required, maintain and update the Active Risk Manager Database.
- Resolve issues that adversely affect the effective performance of systems and databases.
- Monitor, audit and report on the accuracy, receipt and updating of data.
- Provide information to support delivery of business plans and improvement initiatives and project works.
- Provide analysis and management reports as required to support asset management and make recommendations where management action is required.
- Accurately update systems, databases and records as required, including the Hazard Directory.
What you will bring to the role

Desirable skillsets
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Forms, Power Apps and CoPilot.
- Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Asset Management Systems.
- Good understanding of geospatial datasets and related management systems.
- Knowledge of asset management, maintenance delivery processes and techniques.
