About the role (External)
As a Section Manager, you\’ll lead and manage Infrastructure Maintenance teams and contractors to achieve key business objectives and performance targets. You\’ll develop staff competence, support their welfare, and foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
Your responsibilities include ensuring all work is delivered safely and in full compliance with policies, procedures, and CDM Regulations. You will promote a safety-first mindset and oversee safe working practices across all maintenance and renewal activities.
You will focus on delivering efficient, standards-compliant maintenance of infrastructure assets by managing inspections, faulting, and renewal work, while monitoring quality and performance for continuous improvement and long-term reliability.
Additional duties involve developing work plans, allocating resources, and maintaining accurate records across systems to support planning and asset management. Managing information and resources effectively will be key to ensuring safe, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
