This vacancy is Band 6, salary starting at £25,409.

Your experience and skills:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the accurate administration of rosters and timesheets in relation to training activity, ensuring visibility, compliance, and alignment with planned training commitments.
  • Ensure training systems and records are maintained accurately and consistently, providing a clear audit trail for training bookings, changes, and completion, including attendance and cancellations.
  • Take responsibility for minimising training wastage by proactively managing attendance, reallocating training places, and identifying efficiencies that improve value for money.
  • Provide administrative support to the Assessment in the Line (AiTL) process, maintaining accurate records and supporting timely completion.
  • Maintain organised and secure training records and filing systems for the Section(s), ensuring confidentiality and appropriate control of safety critical training documentation.
  • Undertake a range of training related administrative duties, applying appropriate knowledge and skills to ensure effective coordination, visibility, and control of training activity.
  • Support other roles as required, contributing to consistent training administration, shared ways of working, and resilience within the function.

Essential:

  • Experience of clerical support and office management
  • Knowledge of relevant IT systems
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
  • Knowledge of operational railway environment
