About the Role
As an Operative you will work in small teams, supporting the daily upkeep of the rail network. Your work will be carried out in all conditions, day or night, and requires a focus on safety, efficiency and teamwork while working closely with moving trains.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day maintenance and track upkeep tasks.
- Prepare and maintain vehicle and equipment for each shift.
- Provide lookout duties, ensuring the safety of the team and surrounding areas.
- Follow and challenge safety rules and instructions as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Team working – collaborate closely with your maintenance team.
- Communication – clear verbal and written skills.
- Proactive planning – punctual, organized, and anticipatory of team needs.
