Overview

Assistant Track Maintenance Engineer [Off Track] -Lead and direct the Technical Support Team to provide production, performance, assurance, technical, analytical, and data quality support to the Maintenance Engineering team. You will monitor asset performance, provide technical guidance, and manage assurance and compliance processes while maintaining accurate records and supporting the professional development of colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a dedicated Technical Support team to drive business objectives and maintain high standards of safety, competence, and engagement.
  • Undertake technical inspections, investigations, survey and design work, and review and approve method statements and plans for maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate local requirements for track monitoring, deliver outputs, and implement a structured programme of staff surveillance, work quality, and asset condition checks.
  • Maintain accurate records and support professional development of team members.
