The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
As a Water Pressure Tester, you will test, chlorinate and commission water infrastructure. Working to a high standard and codes of best practice, you will ensure that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- You will have a full and comprehensive understanding of chlorinating and sampling procedures.
- You will ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain clean, in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager.
- You will identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the Project Manager and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure.
- You will complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment.
- You will attend toolbox talks and other training courses as required.
- You will record accurately details of work undertaken.
- You will submit relevant work details for recording in the required timescale.
- You will collect and deliver water samples to approved locations within the relevant timescales.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience of chlorinating and testing of mains from a diameter of 63mm to 355mm.
- NRSWA certificate for operatives.
- EUSR Water Hygiene.
- EUSR SHEA Water.
- Experience of Water Mains Testing, Chlorinating and Sampling.
- Full valid driving licence.
- Disinfection of Water Mains Qualification.
