The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

Point of contact for client liaison, interact with Depots to produce maximum productivity and utilisation of plant, equipment and resources. Oversee all day-to-day activities on client schemes and relay back to Depot managers on requirements and progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • GTM Point of contact for Client
  • Attend client site visits / complete site surveys
  • Responsible for checking all job packs for the following day including TM plans have been collated and brief operative on work requirements
  • Monitor Client Programme against works booked in via Central Hub and liaise with Depot Manager to ensure resource and kit availability / requirements
  • Attend and lead on Programme meetings, highlighting any potential requirements
  • Supervision of all operatives to ensure a high standard of work is maintained on site including sub-contractors
  • Compliance checks to ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and returned to the relevant department
  • Any paperwork missing to be chased up with the operative and highlighted to relevant Depot Manager
  • Ensure the completion of a site audit per operative per month, working with the Depot manager highlight any concerns for further audits and training as well as highlighting good performance
  • Ensure 24/7 call out service is always available via the Rota system already agreed and any works delivered outside of normal working hours have been handed over to the nighttime Supervisor or weekend call out supervisor
  • Delivery of team compliance briefs with Depot Manager
  • Provide input for the Monthly / Bi-Monthly Team Brief on works to promote
  • Work closely with the regional manager and Depot Manager with the recruitment of staff and ensuring all members of staff receive the appropriate training
  • Attend weekly Ops Meeting and lead with update on client works
  • Liaise with client regarding site queries and support TM Operatives with any site queries, work with depot manager for any further requirements
  • Support the Client with Cad Requests and work with the CAD Team with verification of CAD Drawings
  • Liaise with Depot Operative on kit requirements and Depot manager regarding kit levels
  • Chase clients for ETAs and site attendance if required
  • Liaise with sub-contractors for assistance with works and handover of documents, site brief
  • Ensure GTM TM Operatives and sub-contractors are compliant in terms of vehicle contents and PPE
  • Provide Out of Hours Duty Manager / Supervisor Assistance (Rota for on call)
  • Daily handover to night shift, including organising the runs / allocation

Experience and Qualifications

  • Self-organisation and prioritising: job holder should demonstrate the ability to organise their work in such a way that tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Record keeping: job holder should be able to demonstrate records of work undertaken and completed as well as work in progress
  • Use of work tools: job holder should demonstrate competence using all work tools
  • Initiative and confidence: job holder should be able to demonstrate a willingness to contribute new ideas to improve things and should be able to determine when to refer a matter to someone else or whether to deal with it themselves
  • Relationship Management / Attitude: job holder should have the ability to calmly and concisely discuss any problems or complaints and solve them without getting drawn into a conflict with either a client, member of public or operative
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication: ability to clearly communicate with external stakeholders and internal colleagues to articulate / convey information accurately and efficiently
  • Previous Traffic Management experience is essential
  • 12D qualification
