Key Responsibilities
- Manage and efficiently resource the team, including weekend requirements, ensuring the office operation has adequate coverage, aligning to the field operation.
- Knowledge of the New Road and Street Works Act and Highway Permit Schemes is essential as well as experience of using Street Manager.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to effectively lead a team and deal with queries.
- Ensure compliance is maintained in line with contractual KPIs.
- Ensure feedback is returned to client within agreed SLA’s
- Ensure investigations carried out into charges are thorough and any rejections are in line with legislation
- Feed areas for improvement into other teams within the department
- Manage internal and external stakeholders
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience of running and mentoring a team.
- Ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Knowledge of New Road and Street Works Act and Highway Permit Schemes is essential.
- Experience of Street Manager is essential.
