  • Issue the correct Risk Assessment (RA) documentation to the competent person in advance of planned shutoffs, ensuring all operational steps and controls are clearly communicated.
  • Verify that the correct, in-date RA is present on site prior to isolation activities commencing.
  • Confirm pre-site checks have been completed and approved.
  • Monitor shutoff progress in real time, maintaining regular communication with field teams throughout the duration of the outage.
  • Escalate delays or potential overruns.
  • Ensure shutoff start and restoration times are accurately recorded and communicated in line with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and timely updates within company works management and shutoff tracking systems.
  • Provide daily and weekly operational updates and reports as required.
  • Ensure all health, safety, compliance, and customer-related concerns are reported and managed in line with company procedures.
  • Provide a positive and proactive contribution to the operational team, supporting continuous improvement and problem solving.
