The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Due to ongoing expansion and growth we are looking to recruit somebody to support the Plant Hire Desk. The department is responsible for processing all plant related requests sent in to the Plant Desk in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the team to support the day-to-day operation of the Plant Hire Department and assisting the Hire Desk manager to ensure the timely completion of requests.
- Sourcing and raising orders for all plant requests coming into the plant desk.
- Complete all administration tasks as required.
- Ensure our asset management system is updated with all supplier information and the costs are correct.
- Action breakdowns within the timeframes of the SLA’s set out to minimize downtime and manage the contract’s expectations.
- Processing supplier live hires within Excel to ensure system accuracy.
- Assisting with weekly reports.
- Assisting in processing and distributing supplier invoice queries to resolve in time for the payment run.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure data integrity is correct and any discrepancies are identified, and re-occurrence is avoided.
Experience and Qualifications
- The successful candidate will be ambitious, willing to learn and keen to grow with the company in a busy Plant department.
- Previous Plant hire / hire desk experience is essential.
- Knowledge of the Utilities industry is desired but not essential.
- Strong IT Skills (Outlook / Word / Excel) is essential.
- The ability to plan your day and prioritise workload.
- Confident phone manner to liaise with internal and external personnel at all levels.
