The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Due to an influx of work, we are on the lookout for a Contract Manager. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of the contract; delivering a wide range of Infrastructure Projects and Capital Works across the North West. You will support the client in delivering their key outcomes; delivery of key contract KPI’s and full management of delivery and back office will be a key element of the role. You will oversee the design, delivery and commercial teams, to ensure our Non-Core programme of work is delivered safely, to the right quality, on programme and to the client’s budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work within the contracts under your control are carried out in full compliance with health, safety, welfare and environmental regulations while working to maximise the profitability of each contract and ensuring satisfaction of contractual requirements.
  • Ensure cash forecasts, construction programmes and progress updates to the client are as accurate as possible and submitted on time.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the contract’s Profit & Loss performance is in line with forecast each week.
  • Take an active part in leading on new tender opportunities released by the client.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships; agreeing T&C’s where required, both operationally and commercially.
  • Ensure compliance with the client’s authorisation requirements and specifications, with the company standards of service and quality systems.
  • Control documentation from cradle to grave with an overall responsibility for the delivery and handover of schemes.
  • Ensure that the sub-contractors and direct labour are assessed in terms of their health and safety competence prior to commencing work for on and behalf of the company.
  • Assess the risk associated with our operations and ensure that suitable and sufficient site-specific method statements and risk assessments are compiled in advance of works.
  • Help to build a new delivery team and support the development of the people in your team.
  • Ensure the safety, consistency of approach and quality of delivery are always to a high standard.
  • Be an integral part of our business development approach, through client interface and company governance.
