Description As a Fleet Controller, you will be part of an established Fleet team responsible for the daily management of the vehicle fleet for the company. You will take a lead in controlling the day to day servicing, defects & breakdowns of our fleet. Key Responsibilities You will liaise with Vehicle suppliers to ensure all orders are processed in line with agreed SLA’s You will handle vehicle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to internal customers / contracts You will ensure SLA’s are achieved with minimum downtime You will investigate and respond to Internal customer / External Supplier Queries You will update fleet management systems You will assist in general fleet desk duties, providing support when needed for other aspects of the fleet department Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Problem solving abilities Excellent Customer Service Skills Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry Excellent planning, organization and time management skills Enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular) Benefits We offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.
