Description


As a Digging Crew, you will be responsible for digging and working as part of the metering contract for Severn Trent Water. You will provide technical expertise, experience and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers.
As a Digging Crew, you will be competent in working on Utilities Civils projects. You will be able to engineer solutions on site and focus your gang on completing work right first time.
You will work with the scheduling team ensuring programmes are met and delivered accordingly. You will provide support to ensure that the companys work is effectively completed through communication with internal and external customers, as well as focusing on the customers needs

Key Responsibilities


  • We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of site safety and site set ups; with the public and team members welfare being essential
  • We are looking for someone who has the knowledge and experience of working on utility projects
  • We are looking for someone to maintain a customer focus whilst working
  • We are looking for someone who has good timekeeping and good housekeeping with tools and equipment
  • We are looking for someone to use GARD (smartphone system) to deliver all feedback for commercial and, where necessary, reinstatement feedback
  • We are looking for someone to liaise with the Support Services and Street works Team to ensure that FPN and Section74 liabilities are managed and focus on a right first-time attitude

  • NRSWRA Operative
  • Wayer hygiene [ EUSR Blue card]
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Safe Dig/Cable avoidance accreditation (EUSR Preferred)
  • Manual Handling
  • First Aid
  • Abrasive wheels
