Job Overview
Join to apply for the Digging Crew role at Network Plus.
The role is part of the Severn Trent Water metering contract. You will deliver high‑quality service to customers and work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Digging and related work on utilities civils projects.
- Engineer solutions on site and focus the gang on completing work right the first time.
- Work with the scheduling team to ensure programmes are met and delivered accordingly.
- Support the company’s work effectively through communication with internal and external customers, focusing on the customer’s needs.
- Maintain a customer focus whilst working.
- Use site safety knowledge, timekeeping, housekeeping, and tools effectively.
- Use GARD (smartphone system) to deliver feedback for commercial and reinstatement feedback.
- Liaise with the Support Services and Street works Team to manage FPN and Section74 liabilities and maintain a right first‑time attitude.
Experience and Qualifications
- NRSWRA Operative
- Wayer hygiene (EUSR Blue card)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Safe Dig/Cable avoidance accreditation (EUSR Preferred)
- Manual Handling
- First Aid
- Abrasive wheels
Salary and Benefits
£300 – £400 per day.
Competitive salary based on experience and a full benefits package.
