As a Trainee Service Delivery Supervisor, you will be trained to manage the LDP Operational Teams in the successful delivery of the Cadent Mains Replacement Programme in the North West. The Trainee Service Delivery Supervisor will learn to provide supervision to those teams under their jurisdiction, from work stack handover through to project completion in an effective and efficient manner. Success will be measured against our 3 imperatives; HSEQ performance, programme adherence and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn to supervise the delivery teams during the works, including site set up, enabling of the works, Gas operations, backfill and reinstatement and site completion.
  • Attend all sites in order to disseminate the Construction Phase Plan information, including all RAMS, with regards setting up of the site and to brief the Team leader on their responsibilities to ensure that the works carried out on the Network comply with the relevant statutory requirements (CDM, IGEM) and Cadent standards and Procedures.
  • Learn how to supervise the opening and closing of street works permits in accordance with NRSWA including the management of agreed Traffic Management and Permit Conditions and the timely capture of reinstatement completion information.
  • Ensure that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Liaison Officer to engage with customers and identify any specific needs (PSR, language line etc) to minimise disruption.
  • Provide daily and weekly reports as required and to ensure that all service levels and objectives are achieved.
  • Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change.
  • Ensure that safety issues are reported in line with Company procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Training will be given in the below:
  • SHEA (Gas)
  • NRSWA 1991 (Supervisor)
  • SCO 1,2 & 5 (preferred)
  • IOSH or SMSTS (preferred)
  • NCO Gas Level 2 / Gas managers appreciation.
