Due to rapid growth and expansion of the business there is an opportunity for a Plant Hire Compliance Controller to join the plant hire department. Overseeing thousands of individual assets nationwide. Working in a fast-paced challenging environment the successful candidate will be expected to manage demand through clear planning by liaising with suppliers and sites nationwide and have the ability to drive to ensure weekly targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the team to support the day to day operation of the Plant Compliance Department
  • Complete all administration tasks as required
  • To ensure our asset management system is always up to date with compliance information and documentation, with a keen eye to detail.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure all plant is serviced and maintained
  • Action breakdowns within the time frames of the SLA’s set out to minimise downtime and manage the contract’s expectations.
  • Raising supplier purchase orders for works carried out and processing orders for damages passed from the Compliance Manager
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure data integrity is correct and any discrepancies are identified, and re-occurrence is avoided.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Plant Hire & Workshop experience is essential
  • Knowledge of the utilities industry is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to make decisions and think on your feet
  • Effective time manager with focus on drive of completion
  • Raising of purchase orders
  • Keen eye for detail and system accuracy to ensure all items are compliant from our suppliers
  • Strong Excel knowledge
