As an experienced Traffic Management CAD Technician, you will be required to produce Traffic Management CAD Drawings for various TM scenarios for a range of projects and clients in different locations and road types across the country. Our high standards must be maintained on each drawing to meet client and industry specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce Traffic Management designs from external on-site surveys utilising AutoCAD or BricsCAD along with Cone software, for TM scenarios such as Give and Take, Priority System, Stop/Go boards, Portable Traffic Signals, Convoy Working, Road Closures, Diversions and Lane Closures for submission to clients and local authorities.
- Liaise with our CAD Department Manager, Depot Managers, Agents and Client planners to give progress updates.
- Show good awareness of the timescales for undertaking required works and ensure that client specific SLA’s are met.
- Show excellent communication skills to ensure that our clients are kept up to date with the progress of their requests.
- Be organised to meet strict SLA’s for each client.
- Work well both in a team and on your own initiative.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous experience of producing TTM plans on AutoCAD / BricsCAD / Cone software.
- Demonstrable knowledge of TTM specs.
- Familiar with Chapter 8 and Streetworks code of practice.
- Good IT Skills – Word, Excel, Outlook.
