As a Fleet Controller, you will be part of an established Fleet team responsible for the daily management of the vehicle fleet for the company. You will take a lead in controlling the day to day servicing, defects & breakdowns of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will liaise with Vehicle suppliers to ensure all orders are processed in line with agreed SLAs.
  • You will handle vehicle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to internal customers / contracts.
  • You will ensure SLAs are achieved with minimum downtime.
  • You will investigate and respond to Internal customer / External Supplier Queries.
  • You will update fleet management systems.
  • You will assist in general fleet desk duties, providing support when needed for other aspects of the fleet department.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage.
  • Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry.
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work.
  • Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment.
  • IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular).
