Our Role

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Programme Manager, in building and maintaining the build programmes and their related duties for our City Fibre contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • We are looking for someone to maintain the recording of data on the relevant systems, limiting risks to forecast of delivery
  • We are looking for someone to ensure that all issues are recorded and escalated
  • We are looking for someone to understand the DepotNet system and work to the processes accordingly
  • We are looking for someone to liaise with Supervisors and sub-contract teams to ensure programmes are delivered
  • We are looking for someone to assist with planning and coordination of programmes and their related activities
  • We are looking for someone to monitor the implementation of programme policies and practices
  • We are looking for someone to keep updated records and create reports or proposals
  • We are looking for someone to ensure that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner
  • We are looking for someone to provide daily and weekly reports and to ensure that all service levels and objectives are achieved
  • We are looking for someone to provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change
  • We are looking for someone to ensure that safety issues are reported in line with Company procedures.



Experience and Qualifications


  • Be IT and system literate - Use of MS Office software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in an organised manner to meet important deadlines
  • Working to detail, with a consideration of the wider impact
  • Programme/project scheduling or events/diary co-ordination
  • Recording and reporting data
