Job Description
Cable Jointer
Our Role
As an authorised Jointer, you will be required to work on the UK Power Networks underground electricity distribution network on both low voltage and high voltage networks.
To apply for this Jointer role, you will need a relevant City & Guilds level 2 qualification (essential), Distribution Network Operator LV and HV jointing authorisations (essential) and an understanding of safety systems and the importance of risk assessments.
We have secured a 5 year contract with UK Power Networks, providing support across their ED2 Distribution Network Programme. We will be providing services across all distribution assets, including overhead lines, underground cabling and substations on LV, 11kV, and 33kV networks. From the 1st April 2023, our teams will be working across the southwest Chilterns, Borehamwood and the Bedford/Cambridge area.
Previous Experience
City and Guilds 2339 (formally 2322) certificate or equivalent
Hold a valid EUSR or CSCS Card
Hold a valid First Aid Qualification
DNO operational authorisation
Clean Driving Licence
You'll also have:

Be customer focused.
Location
Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and as required by the contract.
