Key Responsibilities
- Learning how to safely reinstate roads, footpaths and other surfaces after utility works
- Preparing work areas, mixing and laying materials, compacting surfaces and completing finished reinstatement work
- Supporting safe site set‑up, including signing, guarding and keeping work areas tidy
- Using hand tools, equipment and small plant safely under supervision
- Working as part of a team to deliver high‑quality work for customers and local communities
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- You enjoy practical, outdoor work and are happy working in all weathers
- You’re reliable, punctual and willing to learn from experienced colleagues
- You take safety seriously and can follow instructions carefully
- You take pride in your work
- You work well in a team and communicate clearly
- A full UK driving licence (or in the later stages of learning to drive)
