Full or Part time Optometrist, Monday to Friday - Ipswich, Suffolk. My Client, one of the leading Domiciliary Companies, is looking to recruit a full or part time Optometrist for Ipswich and surrounding areas, and will offer flexibility to work around family and other commitments.

This is a Monday to Friday role, no weekends required and they will be flexible on the days. The role will involve visiting patients in their own homes to carry out a full clinical test and dispense. The successful candidate must have a sympathetic approach and empathy as some patients will be elderly and frail.

You will travel to various locations from your postal address and will be expected to see 6/7 patients a day. You will be working with the latest mobile technology:

  • portable digital fundus cameras
  • mobile slit lamp
  • I-care tonometer
  • industry leading digital records system

This will also enable you to have full support or a second opinion in minutes from their senior optometrist team at the Head Office.

In return you will receive an excellent salary package with very achievable bonus potential plus a fully expensed company car, pension scheme matched up to 5%, full CET support, GOC fees are covered annually, discounted eyewear and hearing products, three 'treat' days granted for 100% attendance and childcare vouchers, Private Healthcare and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
