The successful candidate will be a motivated and organised individual with the confidence to lead the existing 3 strong staff team and our volunteers delivering a variety of sessions across a range of settings including school-based activities, youth clubs, support activities for young people, residentials and trips, for predominantly 11-18 year olds within Horbury and the surrounding areas.
Must have a team ethic, be able to work flexible hours, have a great sense of humour, be enthusiastic supporting young people to have fun, learn and succeed, manage challenges, and celebrate achievements, whilst ensuring a safe young person-centred environment.
Applicants should be sympathetic towards the Christian Ethos of the organisation.
Experience:
- Candidates should have relevant youth work qualifications and will need both supervisory experience and have worked with young people.
- Candidates must be able to travel to different venues in the local area.
- Driving licence - would be advantageous.
This is a job opportunity with prospects and provides developmental training to build on your existing personal, supervisory and youth work experience.
Start date: ASAP. A satisfactory DBS check and references are a condition of employment.
