We are looking to appoint a Youth Project Manager, a key role needing passion, management skills, and a clear commitment to young people in this local but wide-ranging youth project which has predominantly Secular with some Christian activities.
The successful candidate will be a motivated and organised individual with the confidence to lead the existing 3 strong staff team and our volunteers delivering a variety of sessions across a range of settings including school based, detached, youth clubs, residentials and trips, for predominately 11-18 year olds within Horbury and the surrounding areas.
Must have a team ethic, be able to work flexible hours, have a great sense of humour, be enthusiastic supporting young people to have fun, learn and succeed, manage challenges, and celebrate achievements, whilst ensuring a safe young person-centred environment.
Applicants should be sympathetic towards the Christian Ethos of the organisation.
Experience β Candidates should have a recognised youth work qualification and will need both supervisory and youth work experience. Candidates must be able to travel to different venues in the local area. Driving licence β would be advantageous.
